It’s one thing to feel burned out with work for a short period of time when you’re dealing with a finite project with a set start and end date.
More and more states are finally recognizing the unfairness (particularly to women and minorities) of allowing potential employers to ask the salary question during the interview process.
Sometimes there’s fear around negotiating for the salary you want because you don’t want to be rejected or to make the employer or potential employer thing your’e ungrateful.
