Refocusing on Your 2018 Goals
So, you set some goals for yourself at the beginning of the year, and here we are at the end of September.
Do you still want that dream job?
Do you still want that salary increase or promotion?
If the goals you set for yourself at the beginning of 2018 are still resonating with you, and you haven’t yet achieved them, then now is the time to kick yourself into high gear.
Because there’s still time.
But now, your focus should be on…
1. Thinking about your goal(s), and what they mean to you so you can get reinvigorated to achieve them.
Think about why you set the goal(s) in the first place, how achieving these specific goals will positively affect your career trajectory overall; and what the benefits will be not only to you professionally, but personally as well.

You set out the goal and you said you wanted to achieve it and

For example, if your goal is to get from Texas to Canada, walking is certainly one way to go…
But wouldn’t a better, more efficient and less taxing way be to fly?
Perhaps the process you put in place to achieve your goal is precisely why you haven’t reached it yet.
Consider reverse engineering the process to help you get to achieve your goal with this new compressed timeline, fueled by your new passion and excitement for achieving your success.
3. Acting!
Because all the thinking in the world is not enough, on its own, to get you where you want to be in your career.
